Crested Cranes forward Resty Nanziri impressed on her Indian Women’s League 2024-25 debut as East Bengal Football Club beat Kick start Football Club 2-0 at the historic East Bengal Ground on Friday.
Nanziri netted one of the two goals for East Bengal on the day with the Red and Gold Brigade doing a worthy job on their home turf.

The former Kampala Queens forward achieved this after she ran through the left and found the near post with a low left footed strike.

Other goal was scored by another debutant Sandhiya Ranganathan to to take home three points.
She became the second foreign player to play and score for East Bengal Women’s Team in the Indian Women League after Bangladesh’s Sanjida Akhter last season.
Nanziri joined East Bengal Football Club from Danish side Boldklubben af 1893 where she has been since December 2023.
