Four-time Uganda Premier League champions, URA has continued to show its superiority in the transfer market with the latest reports indicating that they have landed SC Villa and Kobs full-back Derrick Ndahiro.
Ndahiro’s brilliance on the left has attracted many big guns in the past including Vipers SC, KCCA FC and Wakiso Giants.
Ndahiro is expected to replace Brian Majwega who has reportedly joined KCCA FC.
Ndahiro made his debut for SC Villa in 2018 against URA FC in the FUFA Super Cup and has since cemented his left-full back position for the Jogoos.
He departs a Villa side that is drowning in debt and has failed to pay most of its players for the past more than five months. Ndahiro Joins Geoffrey Wasswa who has also joined the tax collectors already.
URA finished second in the just concluded Startimes Uganda Premier League season and will be looking to add onto last season’s squad and better their performance. They will also represent Uganda in the 2021/22 CAF Confederations Cup.
