Fred Amaku and Dusan Stojanovic were named the best player and coach respectively for the month of combined months of March and April at the Kati Kati Restaurant on Monday.
Maroon’s Amaku beat off competition from KCCA FC’s Shaban Muhammad and Vipers’ Allan Okello to the award of best player.
All the three nominees having assisted once, Amaku scored three goals just like Shaban and netted one more than Okello to take home the award.
For the Coach’s award, SC Villa’s Dusan Stojanovic matched away with it after powering his side to winning two games of the four and drawing two.

He beat off competition from coach Hussien Mbalangu of NEC who managed 3 wins, one more and 2 losses from five games.
The other person in the race was Maroons’ Muhammad Ssenfuma with two wins, a draw and two losses out of the five games.
