Thé State minister for Sports Hon. Peter Ogwang announced the new board members of Mandela National Stadium Namboole.

The development was announced on Tuesday morning after the expiration of the tenure for the previous board on 30th, November 2023.
The new board will be headed by Barlow Edward John Muwanga as the board chairman who has directly replaced Rosette Lubwama Kebba.
The other members on this board will include;
Abeja Anne who maintains her position, Eng. Ancheng Innocent Nkuyahaga, Mr. Okudi Robert Bellarmine, Mr. Namboga Timothy Ronald and Mr Tagoole Ali
As promised to Ugandan by Ogwang, Uganda will host its 2026 World Cup Qualifier games in March 2024 against Botswana and Algeria.
