There will be no room for error for defeat Bomber Kassim Mulungi as he looks to prove that his win in the first encounter against Derrick Mubiru was no fluke.
For Mubiru, after leaving the previous season with dissatisfaction will once again have to show what his made of in Week 6 of the Uganda Boxing Champions League main fight on Saturday 3rd August 2024 at Club Obligato.
Mubiru who hails from Namugoona Boxing Club lost the previous fight 4:3 after review and says his back to start a new chapter this time;

On the otherside, Africa Elite Boxing Championship bronze medalist who hails from the East Coast Kassim Murungi oozes confidence with hope that Mubiru worked on his previous mistakes;

This is going to be the second time these two meet in the Uganda Boxing Champions League Featherweight 57 kgs.
On the same day, we shall once again have sight on COBAP’s Broline Kimbugwe alias Stylist since week one as he faces off with Ashraf Mutaasa from Mutajjazi in a Lightweight Elite 71Kgs contest.

Both boxers lost their very first bouts this season to Nerrick Tumusiime (week one[1]) and Mawanda Depark (week three[3]) respectively but this time round both are hoping for a win but we are set to see only one winner.
In the middleweight 75Kgs elite weight category UPDF’s Harold Mukuye will take on Gulu’s finest Okello Ronald.
In an interview with Mukuye, he came out to assure his fans that he will beat Okello;
“Okello has run a bit late here at the weigh in therefore I couldn’t assure him but just be watch on tomorrow in the ring” he said.
In the women UPDF Boxing Club’s Sarah Katusiime will face Daniella Babirye of Lukanga Boxing Club in the Junior 54Kgs while Gulu’s Laker Sarah will take on Arua’s Ayike Arafah in the Elite 60kgs.
