NBL resumes as City Oilers seek 7th consecutive title

The FUBA National Basketball League(NBL) will resume tomorrow, Wednesday 13th November 2019 at Logogo Indoor Arena with the semi-finals matchups after a long break.

The league broke off early last month to enable Ugandan teams and players to participate in various international playoffs matchups which included;

1) The World beach games in Qatar where 2 city oilers and one UCU Canons players got involved for the men and UCU Lady Canons (Sarah Ageno and Abey Priscilla) & JKL’s Ritah Imanishimwe for the women.
2) Basketball Africa League qualifiers in Dar es Salaam where City Oilers were Uganda’s representatives
3) Women Zone V tournament with JKL Lady Dolphins as Ugandan representatives and
4) The FIBA 3X3 Africa Cup held last weekend in Kampala.

the Ladies’ Defending Champions, JKL Lady Dolphins will entertain KIU Rangers before UCU Canons face Betway Power in the last game of the night.

On gameday II, UCU Lady Cannons take on KCCA Leopards in the other ladies semifinals before the Men’s defending champions City Oilers continue their quest for the 7th title with a Game 1 matchup against Warriors later on in the night.
