JKL Dolphins rallied from behind to stun KIU Titans 66-56 in the FUBA National Basketball League match played at the KIU Court in Kansaga.
The game went into halftime with KIU into a 9 points lead ( 35-26) but were blown out in the second half as JKL made 40 points to seal their third win of the season.
Libe Makala and Brian Namake scored 19 and 12 points respectively for JKL Dolphins while for KIU, Faisal Aden had 11 while Peter Obleng and Michael Bwanga contributed 9 and 7 respectively in the losing effort.
Elsewhere, KCCA Panthers held on to defeat Nam Blazers 59-51 in a tightly contested afternoon game.
KCCA restricted Blazers to just 12 points in the first half to set up 25-12 lead after second quarter before they head on to hand Nam Blazers their first loss of the season after their opening day boardroom forfeiture loss to City Oilers for using ineligible player ( Soro Geoffrey).
Paul Ereng and Richard Ongom combined for 28 points as KCCA Panthers held on to outshone Nam Blazers.
In the ladies category, Brenda Ekone and Hope Akello had 17 points each as JKL Lady Dolphins survived a late scare to scramble past Angels 48-46.
While KCCA thrashed Nabisunsa Girls 97-40 thanks to Leane Nalunkuma’s 24 points.
