City Oilers picked up their first win of the season, a 68-62 victory against Rezlife Saints at the Lugogo Arena on Wednesday night.
The defending Champions lost both opening games of the season against NamBlazers and JT Jaguars. Fayed Baale returned from injury to score 17 points and Joseph Chuma’s 14pts 16reb double-double proved more vital than Rezlife’s Micheal Otieno who scored a game high 24 points.
Oilers were trailing by 7 points at halftime but redeemed themselves. In the ladies game, defending champions JKL Lady Dolphins ran riot against UPDF Lady Tamahalks winning 102-63.
Elsewhere at Abja Parks, Namuwongo Blazers defeated Kampala Rockets 74-41, their 5th win of the season. KIU Rangers were 53-48 victors against Miracle Eaglets.
