Namuwongo Blazers fought back to level the National Basketball League Finals series at 2-2 after beating City Oilers 74-70 in Game Four on Friday at Lugogo.
The Blazers, who won Game One, had fallen 2-1 behind after the Oilers claimed Games Two and Three.
The defending champions made a strong start, taking a 23-13 lead at the end of the first quarter.
City Oilers responded in the second quarter, winning 19-15 to reduce the deficit. They continued to close the gap and went into the final quarter just one point behind.
The game remained tight in the fourth quarter, with the lead changing hands several times before Namuwongo held on to secure the win.
Anthony Chuckwurah posted a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Jimmy Enabu and James Okello added 15 and 12 points respectively.
Patrick Rembert led City Oilers with 19 points, while Fayed Baale and Joel Lukoji contributed 11 points each.
The Oilers won the rebounding battle 48-45 but struggled from three-point range, making just three of 16 attempts.
They also committed 24 turnovers as Namuwongo took advantage to claim the crucial victory.
The best-of-seven series is now tied at 2-2, with Game Five scheduled for Sunday.
