Mbarara City have granted permission to five senior players to negotiate deals away from the Mbabara based side.
The four players told to find new clubs include former Vipers’ and SC Villa striker, Bashir Mutanda, John Adriko, Salim Huud, Opio Jackson and Ivory coast’s Chato Bamba Siaka.
Mutanda who joined the Ankole lions in 2020 from SC Villa failed to agree on the terms to extend his contract while Bamba who was signed early this year from Baia De Pemba failed to impress during his six months stay at the club.
Ahead of the new signing, the Ankole lions have renewed contracts of goalkeeper Martin Elugat and Jude Ssemugabi.
They are still negotiating to renew the contract of youngster Ivan Eyam who has attracted interest from URA and KCCA in the recent weeks.
