Marcelo Cardoso: We expect a good show from Police FC

Vipers SC assistant head coach Marcelo Cardoso has said he expects a good show from Police FC on Tuesday evening when the two sides clash in the Stanbic Uganda Cup semifinal tie at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

Cardoso made these remarks at the pre-match press conference held at FUFA House, Mengo.

“Our players are working very hard and their is good improvement thus everything is going according to our plans.” Cardoso said before adding;

” Police is traditional club with high expectations thus we expect a good show from them tomorrow”

Robertinho, together with Cardoso were appointed as Vipers coaches less than a month ago and the latter says it’s has been a wonderful experience so far and he is happy for the little improvement so far and his team is set to challenge the Coach Abdullah Mubiru’s team.

“We are happy to be part of the project and we wish to bring a little contribution to the improvement of Ugandan football. After 3 weeks of work we are happy and set for the encounter against Police.”

This is going to be the pair’s first official match since they were appointed in August and will hope for a bright start to their coaching career at the Venoms.

Furthermore, FUFA has also confirmed that Rajab Bakasambe will be the center referree of this game and will be assisted by Okello Lee and Okello Dick as his first and second assistants.
