KCCA FC overturn UPL fixture adjustments to play without players on National Team Duty


As the Uganda Cranes prepare to take on Malawi in the AFCON qualifiers and the local regional tour “Cranes Namutima”,  a number of local based players were summoned to start preparations for the two events.

In an earlier communication, the secretariat adjusted the Startimes Uganda Premier League fixtures for club that have more than 3 players summoned for national duty as per article 19(26) of FUFA competitions rules.

However, KCCA FC has requested to play their fixture against Police FC that had earlier been called off without their players who have been summoned to the National Team for the  two matches.

Therefore, KCCA FC’s fixture against Police FC has been reinstated on Saturday 9th November, 2019 at the StarTimes Stadium.

KCCA’s player summoned to the team include; Allan Okello, Charles Lukwago Nicholas Kasozi, John Revita, Kato Samuel, Musitafa Kizza And Muzamiru Mutyaba.

The Lugogo based side has only played 7 games out the 12 games so far played.

The defending champions are 17 points behind table leaders vipers SC who have all their 12 games.

More adjustments were made to the fixtures and these include the following.

SUPL M#32 KCCA FC VS URA FC that was earlier postponed has been rescheduled for Wednesday 20th November 2019 at startimes stadium lugogo 4pm and it will be live on sanyuka TV.

SUPL Match #120 ONDUPARAKA VS SC VILLA that was supposed to be played on Sunday 17th November 2019 has been moved a head by only one day and it’s to be played on 18th November 2019.

SUPL MATCH 102 MAROONS FC VS VIPERS SC earlier postponed has been rescheduled for Wednesday 20th November 2019 at Luzira Prisons ground at 4:30pm.
