Thirteen-time Uganda Premier League champions Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) has announced the signing of defender Innocent Wafula from Mbarara City.
Wafula has put pen to paper on a one-year employment contract, the club has announced
“Wafula has agreed to a one year deal with KCCA FC,” KCCA announced on Tuesday.
After leaving Vipers at the end of the 2019/20 first round of the season, the defender joined Mbabara City and had an impressive season, earning himself a Uganda Cranes call-up ahead of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Kenya and Mali.
Wafula also featured for Gor Mahia before he was signed up by the Venoms at the start of the 2019/20 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season.
Wafula becomes the Kasasiro Boys seventh signing this window after Emmanuel Wasswa, Yassar Mugerwa, Brian Majwega, Brian Kayanja, Usama Arafat and Geoffrey Wasswa.
