Newly appointed Bidco Uganda Limited (BUL) FC Chief Executive Officer, Joseph Mutaka says he will make the Eastern Giants a model club in Uganda.
Mutaka made the comments in his first interview shortly after being confirmed as the club’s new CEO, replacing Ahmed Kongola who run down his contract that was not renewed.
Mutaka was the club’s Head of Communications and Marketing at the club says he is happy to be the club’s new CEO.
“Am very happy to be promoted from the Head of Communication and Marketing to the CEO role,” He said before adding; “As a person since joining the club in 2012 as the media officer, I anticipated a much bigger office one day and now the Almighty has made it possible.”
Joseph Mutaka, who is currently one of the long-standing and serving members at the club has set his sight on making BUL FC the model club in Africa in the next 3-5 years.
“I promised to make BUL FC a model club in Uganda in the next 3-5 years, a club which other clubs admire most, both on and off the pitch.”
“If everything is put in place and am given support, we shall have one of the best clubs in Uganda.”
BUL currently occupies the fourth spot on the StarTimes Uganda Premier League log with 16 points garnered in 8 games.
