South Sudanese international Ivan Wani Adebo Levi is the latest Busoga United player to cross over to City rivals BUL FC in the ongoing Transfer window and will remain at the club for the next two years.
The former Maroons midfielder becomes the fifth signing for the Eastern Giants in the ongoing transfer window after Hannington Ssebwalunyo (BUL), Ibrahim Nsimbe (MYDA), Saidi Keni (SC Villa) and former Busoga United captain George Kasonko were snapped up last week.
BUL has also let go of more than 13 players that include Anwar Ntege, Elvis Kibbale, Denis Okot, Musa Walangalira, Robert Mukongotya, Jimmy Kulaba, Charles Ssempa, Deogracious Ojok, Vitalis Tabu, Paul Mbazira, Fred Kigozi and Kenneth Ssemakula.
Ivan Wani joins the growing list of players who have left Busoga United for City rivals BUL FC over the past years with the most recent being long-serving captain George Kasonko.
Busoga United has lost a number of players over the past months and we are yet to record any new signings as teams continue beefing up their squads ahead of the 2021/22 StarTimes UPL season.
BUL will be back in action between 19th and 31st August when they play UPL champions Express FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup semifinals.
