The Futsal Uganda Cup quarterfinals delivered an electrifying night of action, drama, and individual brilliance.
As the sport continues to capture the hearts of Ugandans, the spectacle on Friday, February 28, 2025, was nothing short of breathtaking.
From remarkable comebacks to controversial moments, the evening had it all. However, one name stood above the rest, Ilyas Omran.
Omran’s Seven-Star Performance Steals the Show
In a match that will be remembered for years, Ilyas Omran produced an extraordinary seven-goal performance to lead Kisenyi FC to a 9-4 demolition of Fiyore FC.

Right from the opening whistle, Omran was on a mission, scoring a fabulous opener to set the tone.

Though one of his goals was ruled out, his third stood as the winner, with the remaining four adding to the margin of victory.
Omran’s dominance on the court left Fiyore’s defense in shambles, as he orchestrated Kisenyi’s attack with precision and power.
His ability to find space, outmaneuver defenders, and finish clinically made him unplayable on the night.
Quarterfinals Deliver High Drama
The night wasn’t just about Omran’s heroics. Each of the four quarterfinals delivered intense battles and jaw-dropping moments:
- Kabuusu Clouds 10-4 Motion Sports
