Tafiq Bagalana has joined an English side Leicester Forest RFC for the upcoming season as confirmed by Nile Special Rugby Premiership Rugby outfit Jinja Hippos
Leicester Forest RFC is a Community-based Rugby Football Club offering senior rugby, veterans, colts and a youth section from Under 6’s to under 16’s. The side also has a special girls rugby program which spans under 13’s, 15’s and 18’s.
Captain Bagalana as dubbed the “The boss” has developed through the ranks of the team has been an important player for the Hippos, after helping them clinch their first-ever national trophy when they won the 2022 National 7s title.
However the club intend to look forward to their preferred targets (signings for the new campaign)pending approval from the Club Chairman.
He joins Ugandan Rugby Cranes player Phillip Wokorach who plies his trade at “ASBC Bédarrides XV” in France in the league of the players who play professional Rugby.
