StarTimes Uganda Premier League club, Mbarara City FC has finally confirmed the departure of attacking midfielder Gadafi Gadinho who went missing from the club at the end of last season’s first round.
Gadinho who joined Mbarara City on a two-year deal from Onduparaka in May 2019, following Livingstone Mbabazi’s appointment at the Club did not complete his time at the club.
The club and player decided that they mutually end their relationship as per the statement from the club CEO.
“We have mutually agreed to terminate the contract with Gadafi Gadinho Muhamad had with us.”
“We thank him for the time he has been a Lion. We wish him the very best in the future.”
The club has also confirmed the development via their twitter handle

Gadinho becomes the fifth player confirmed to have left the Ankole Lions following the departure of Ibrahim Orit (Vipers) and Brian Aheebwa (KCCA) and the duo of Stephen Kabuye and Bashir Muweesi who were released.
Brian Ssenyondo’s side has so far brought in Ronald Edwok, Godfrey Kalungi, and most recently Bashir Mutanda and managed to renew with Swalik Bebe, Souleymane Bamba, Jude Ssemugabi, and Pistis Barenge.
