Mengo Futsal Club and Big Talent Soccer Academy picked up their second wins while Kisenyi Football Club rallied from down to garner their first win of the season when the 2021 Futsal Super league resumed with the Match day two fixtures on Saturday morning at the Old Kampala Sports Arena.
Here is a wrap of all the Match day two fixtures;
Having drawn in their first game, Kisenyi FC came from three goals down to defeat Yeak Kabowa 4-3 in the first game of the day.
Kabowa were 3-0 up at the end of the first half but Shafiq Avemah netted a brace just after halftime before Mohammed Abdirahim levelled matters for Kisenyi with just five minutes to play.
With the game heading to a stalemate, Ahmed Omar netted the winner to secure Kisenyi a dramatic comeback win and their first of the season.
Big Talents who impressively won their first game of the season then took the field of the play to verse Aidenal SOSA FC. Aidenal surprisingly took the lead through Kavuma Marvin before they doubled it moments later though Kalanzi Denis, but Big Talents with the help of their captain Wabyona Faizal fought back to score three goals and win the game 3-2.
Wabyona was involved in all three goals, netting twice and assisting the winner, which was scored Kiwanuka Pablo.
In the third game of the day, Mengo also had to come from a goal down to defeat Kampala Junior Team 3-1. KJT took an early lead through Abas Kyeyune but it never took long for Mengo to level matters through Kafumbe Masundi’s strike.
Just before the game could go into recess, captain Najib Muwonge put his side ahead before Saidi Mayanja sealed a second win of the season for Mengo in the second half.
In the last game of the day, Synergy netted two goals in the last five minutes to hold Park FC to a disappointing 5-all draw.
Park were brilliant in the first half, netting three quick goals through a brace from Abas Junior and a Kalyango Samuel goal but Synergy pulled a goal just before the break through Ivan Irinimbabazi’s spot kick.
Synergy then levelled matters in the second half after two quick goals from Suleiman Kibugwe and Irinimbabazi but after a lapse of concentration from the Synergy defense, Park restored their two goals lead after goals by Byaruhanga Rica and Kitanda John with five minutes to play.
But they couldn’t hold on onto their lead as Travis Mutyaba and Yasin Sabil netted with almost their last kicks of the game to force a draw.
Action will resume next weekend with the Match day three fixtures at the same ground, Old Kampala Sports Arena
