In Kampala, Maroons FC suffered their second consecutive loss of the season after they were defeated 1-0 by Mbale Heroes at the Luzira Prisons Playgrounds on Sunday evening courtesy of a Joel Male’s first half strike.
Maroons now fourth on the log with seven points while Mbale Heroes, who have won their first game of the season move a place up to sixth position.
In Zombo, Gaddafi FC pilled more misery onto Paidha Black Angels as they subjected them to a 1-0 loss at the Bar Okoro Stadium. Otim James netted early on for the Soldier Boys to help secure a second consecutive win in less than 3 days.
In Bukedea, Kataka FC earned a hard-fought 10- victory over Black Powers FC at the Emokori Playground.
In the only game in the Rwenzori Group, Tooro United humbled Ndejje University 3-1 at the Buhinga Stadium, Fort Portal. Kasule AbdulKarim netted a brace while Marvin Oshaba added the other for the Entale Za Tooro while Vincent Abigaba scored Ndejje’s consolation late on in the game.
Tooro United ascend to the summit of the Rwenzori Group with 12 points garnered in five games while Ndejje University, who have lost their first game of the season sits fifth on the log with 6 games.
