After a brilliant start in the 2025/2026 Finance Trust Bank Women Super League, Kawempe Muslim Women Football Club occupy the top of the log with 22 points as they are yet to lose a game, winning 7 and one draw
The stellar performances have yeilded for the Valley warriors as three of their own have been nominated for the FTB Women Super League monthly awards.
Head Coach Ayub Khalifa has been nominated for the coach of the month award after guiding his side to four wins in their four games played and scoring a total of 7 goals.
He will battle against Kamapal Queens head coach Asefewa who has lost just a singla game in the four played so far.
On the other hand, the player of the month award has produced two players from the same team as Kawempe duo of captain Agnes Namukenya and go Seealkeeper Namwanje Saidat will battle it out with Catherine Nagadya of Kampala Queens.
Nabukenya has managed to register 4 goals in the four games whereas Namwanje keeping 3 clean sheet.
Kampala Queens’ Catherine Nagadya has also found the back of the net on four occasions in the four games played despite her side losing once.
