Fourth edition of Futsal Super League set to kickoff after 8-month break

The Uganda National Futsal League, The Futsal Super League is finally set to kickoff this Sunday 15th May at Old Kampala Arena after an eight-month break.

This was confirmed by the Futsal Association of Uganda ( FAU) on Monday night with the release of the season fixtures.

According to the released fixtures, eight teams will feature in this year’s edition which includes defending Champions Park FC.

Kisenyi FC, Aidenal SOSA, KJT and Kabowa Dream Team are the other teams that featured in the last edition while Asca Oldies, Luzira Thunders and Talent Bridge FC made their maiden appearance.

This season will start on 15th May and will run until June 25th, 2022 with ties played on home and away basis.

The top team on the log after 14 games will be crowned champion.

Unlike the previous season, this year there is prize money to be distributed amongst the eight teams. The winner will receive Shs. 5m while the last team will take home Shs. 500,000/=

In addition after the start of the season, there will be a FIFA Futsal Refereeing Course which is organised for all Futsal Super League Referees in a bid to help them master the laws of Futsal game.

The five-day course will take place between 21-25 May 2022.
