Futsal Association Uganda (FAU) has unveiled the nominees for the Ssaka Bulk Hauliers betPawa Futsal Super League Player of the Month award for April 2025, following an electrifying run in the betPawa Futsal Super League (FSL), during which each team played four high-stakes matches.
Leading the nominations is Kisenyi FC’s prolific forward Ilyas Omran, who stole the spotlight with 12 goals in just four games. His standout performances included a stunning six-goal haul against Crown Lubiri and a five-goal show against Kabuusu Cloud. Omran’s clinical finishing has extended his lead atop the league’s scoring charts, where he now boasts an impressive 36 goals.
Also earning a nomination is Abdulkarim Tebera of Mengo City, who netted five goals over four matches, highlighted by a hat-trick against Kabowa Dream Team. Tebera’s influential displays were pivotal in Mengo City’s perfect April campaign, which saw them win all their games and surge to the top of the FSL standings.
The third nominee, Victor Kazibwe of Kabowa Dream Team, showcased remarkable consistency, finding the net in each of Kabowa’s April fixtures to tally four goals. His steady contributions helped his team stay competitive against tough opponents.

The Ssaka Bulk Hauliers Player of the Month award honors players who exemplify excellence, consistency, and a strong impact on their teams. This season’s previous winners include Brian Olwa (Edgars Youth Programme), Waleed Bashir (Kisenyi FC), Samuel Omara (Mengo City), Abasi Muluya (Park FC), and Gaddafi Bazanyanengo (Kabuusu Cloud).
The winner for April will be decided through a combination of fan voting and technical panel assessment, with the announcement scheduled ahead of the next round of league action on Friday.
