Uganda Premier League side Soltilo Bright Stars has completed the signing of goalkeeper Emmanuel Derrick Were from Kyetume FC.
This was confirmed on Saturday morning through the Stars social media handles.

We’re is a three-time Masaza Cup winnger with Singo and Buddu. He won the 2015 and 2018 titles with Ssingo before helping Buddu to truimph in 2016.
He was also voted the MOST Valuable Player (MVP) and best goalkeeper in the 2019 Pepsi University Football league after he captained Uganda Christian University to league truimph.
Were joins Hassan Matovu, Mathias Okwalinga, Kazuto Kushida, Meddie Kyeyune and Fiat Cleophas as Bright Stars’ new addition this window.
The club has also promoted youngsters Issa Bugembe and goalkeeper Kamya Shamulan from the club’s junior team.
We’re will battle with Simon Tamale for who starts in between the sticks next season.
