A couple of Ugandan professional foreign based players were in action over the weekend for their respective sides across the globe. Some got valuable playing times while others remained on the bench.

Muzamiru Mutyaba and Alfred Leku were more impressive as they found the back the net in Rwanda and Zambia respectively as their sides picked up valuable points.

This is how Uganda’s professional foreign based players fared over the weekend.

Starting off in South Africa, Dennis Onyango never made it to the Matchday squad as Mamelodi Sundowns drew 1-all with Sekhukhune United in the DSTV Premiership.

Ismaïl Watenga also never made it to the matchday squad as his side, Marumo Gallants drew 2-all with Royal AM.

While Jamal Salim started in goal for Richards Bay FC as they lost 1-0 to Kaiser Chiefs courtesy of Dillan Peter Solomons’ penalty.

In Scotland, Bevis Mugabi was an unused substitute for Motherwell FC as they claimed a 1-0 victory over Livingstone in Scottish Premiership.

In England, Jordan Obita featured fulltime for Wycombe Wanderers and was yellow carded as they defeated Barnsley 3-0 in the Football League One

In Azerbaijan, Kizito Luwagga featured halftime as his side, Sabail FK drew 1-all with Inter Baku in the Azerbaijan Premier League.

In Iceland, Elvis Bwomono featured fulltime for IBV as they lost 2-1 to IA in the Úrvalsdeild.

In Vietnam, Godfrey Kizito Baba featured fulltime for Nam Dinh as they lost 2-0 to Hong Linh in the Vietnam League 1.

In Sweden, Ritah Kivumbi was absent as her side, Mallabacken IF lost 2-0 to Norrköping in Swedish Elitettan.

Patrick Mulyati came off the bench and scored the winner as Kiruna FF defeated Baik 2-1 in the Swedish Division 2.

Alexis Bbaka was on target as his side Umea FC drew 1-all with Motala in the Swedish Division 1.

Isak Ssewakambo played only six minutes for Sirius and got injured as they drew 2-all with AIK in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

Still in Allsvenskan, Ronald Mukiibi featured for 54 minutes for Degerfos as they lost 2-0 to Kalmar FF.

In USA, Steven Sserwadda was introduced on in the 75th minute for Dru Yearwood as his side, New York Red Bulls drew 1-all with FC Cincinnati in the Major League Soccer.

Still in USL, Mike Azira featured fulltime for New Mexico as they beat Monterey Bay 2-0.

Edward Kizza featured for the last 20 minutes for Pittsburgh Riverhounds as they drew 2-all with New York Red Bulls II in the USL.

Musa Ramathan featured fulltime for FC Cincinnati 2 as they claimed a 2-1 victory over Toronto FC in the MLS NextPro.

Aziz Kayondo started for Real Monarch as they lost 3-1 Minnesota United in spotkicks after a 1-all fulltime stalemate.

In Lativia, Derrick Kakooza came on the 91st minutes as his side, Valmeria 2 claimed a 3-2 victory over Saidus.

In UEFA Champions League, Fauzia Najjemba featured fulltime as her side BIIK Kazygurt got eliminated from the competition after a 2-0 loss to Zhytlobud-2.

In Tanzania, Khalid Aucho featured for Young Africans as they defeated coastal Union 2-0 in the NBC Premier League.

In Rwanda, Muzamir Mutyaba was introduced on in the second half and found the back of the net as Kinyovu Sport claimed a 3-1 victory over Bugesera in the Rwandese Primus League.

In Zambia, Alfred Leku was on target on debut as Zesco United drew 1-all with Prison Leopards in MTN Zambian Premier League.

In Czech Republic, Isaac Muleme featured for Viktoria Zizkov as they progressed to the next round of the MOL Cup after defeating SK Kosmonosy 3-0.
