StarTimes Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC will face Central Africa Republic side Real de Bangui in the preliminary round of CAF Champions League.
Vipers will play first league away in Bangui between September 9-11 before hosting the second leg at Kitende between September 16-18.
If Vipers negotiate past Bangui, they will progress to face DRC’s TP Mazembe in the second preliminary round.
Vipers secured this spot to feature in the CAF Champions League after winning the StarTimes Uganda Premier League last season.
Bangui are the defending champions of Central Africa Republic league after winning their 13th last season. They have never made it to the group stages of the CAF Champions League.
Vipers are aiming to make it to the group stages of the CAF Champions League for the first time in their history.
