Goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan has completed finalised a transfer back to Uganda Premier League side Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC)
The goalkeeper rejoins KCCA FC as a free agent, having run down his contract at Kenyan Premier League side, AFC Leopards – The Club confirmed on Sunday evening on the KCCA FC show on Sanyuka TV.
Ochan joined AFC Leopards in 2019 after leaving Zambia Super League’s outfit Kabwe Warriors penning down a one-year-long contract at the KPL side, before extending through to the end of the 2019/20 season.
This is the third stint for Ochan at KCCA having played in the 2008-09 season and from 2015-2018.
Ochan has also played for Blomemfontien Celtics, SC Villa, SC Victoria University and Danish club AGF Aarhus.
He becomes the tenth new addition for KCCA after Brian Majwega, Brian Kayanja, Emmanuel Wasswa, Geoffrey Wasswa, Yasser Mugerwa, Usama Arafat, Innocent Wafula, Derrick Ochan and Rogers Mato.
Ochan has played 17 times for the Uganda Cranes team since making his debut on 30th September 2013 against Egypt.
He has played two African Nations Championships in South Africa (2014) and Morocco (2018).
