Allan Kayiwa made his debut for Ethiopian side, Shashemene FC on Sunday shortly after exiting Uganda Premier League side Express FC.
Unfortunately, Kayiwa’s side lost the game 1-0 to Hawassa FC however it is new beginning for the Ugandan International with atmost hope that the results will stabilize.
The new League entrants, Shashemene who currently lay bottom will play their next game against table leaders Saint George on Saturday 20th October.
Apart from Kayiwa, the Ethiopian League holds more Ugandan players like Wasswa Geofrey, Kakooza Derrick who ply their trade at Ethiopia Bunna.
Charles Musiige(Diredawa Kenema), Simon Peter(CBE), Lukwago Charles(Hawassa Kenema), Saidi Ken,(Shashemene Kenema) and Allonzi Nafian(Mechal) are the other names in the Ethiopian top flight League.
