International Boxing Association president Umar Kremlev returned to Uganda on his second official visit.
The Russian who arrived on Saturday was in the Pearl of Africa in December last year as he commissioned the construction of an international boxing academy in Matugga on the land provided to Uganda Boxing Federation by the Buganda kingdom.
However this year he visited both Masaka Kids Africana dance group and Masaka Boxing Club in his one day visit on Sunday with help from the, Uganda Boxing Federation President, Moses Muhangi, State Minister of Sport in Uganda Peter Ogwang, NCS Chairman Ambrose Tashobya and Masaka’s RCC Huddu Hussein.
Kremlev started off the day with a visit to the precious home of the Masaka Kids Africana where he received a lovely welcome from the children who displayed their delight through singing and dance.

He was taken around the home and shown the different achievements and milestones reached by the dance group including getting the 1 million subscription YouTube physical button.

Masaka Kids Africana was built on the basis of making the life of different Orphans better but I wouldn’t like to say all Children here are Orphans because some of them have one parent who is not able enough to provide all they need.” said John Kityamuwesi, the assistant Care taker.
À happy Kremlev later went on to provide the children with some clothing (Jumpers), foot wear and boxing gloves, something that excited Children who also had a gift in form of a face sketch painting of the IBA President himself handed to him and signed by Prince Emma.

Before leaving, Kremlev promised to lend a hand in putting up a Community boxing gym at the Kids vacant land in his hope to grow boxing in the Masaka region and left the children a token of cash.

There after a number of boda boda riders led Kremlev to the Masaka Recreation Grounds, home of Masaka Boxing Club where boxers from the Masaka region were waiting on the Russian to show off their skills.
With very limited time left on his schedule, the IBA President was impressed with the boxers and provided them with different boxing equipment which included gloves.

At the end of visit he met up with representatives from the ministry of Finance, ministry of Energy and UBF President in a secret gathering at the Entebbe International Airport with an aim of attracting more investment and country development which is beyond just Sports as revealed by the Uganda Boxing Federation President Moses Muhangi.
