Kyetume FC finally confirms Mayanja as Head Coach


Kyetume football club recently fired their head coach George ‘Best’ Nsimbe leaving David Mutono as caretaker till the end of the first round.

According to kyetume’s Facebook page Jackson Mayanja has now taken on full duties as Kyetume’s head coach on a two year contract replacing Nsimbe with immediate effect.

Jackson Mayanja, who was in charge when Kyetume was promoted to the top flight of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League for the first time in the club’s history returns after being sent packing by Tanzanian side, Kinondoni Municipal Council before a year could elapse.

At this moment, Kyetume Football Club are 16th on the log with 16 points just 4 points away from the the regelation zone.

Out of the fifteen games played in the first round they have managed to win 5 lost 9 and drawn 1.

Jackson Mayanja’s task during the 2nd round will now be ensuring Kyetume remain in the league for a 2nd successive season.
