2026 World Cup qualifiers: Put confirms final Uganda Cranes squad ahead of Somalia encounter

Uganda Cranes Head Coach Paul Put has confirmed the final squad that he will use against Guinea on 17th November and Somalia on 21st November.

The two away games in the 2026 FIFA will also be his first on the touchline as the Cranes Head Coach.

Put has chosen 27 of the 36players he summoned six days ago. Inform Kitara Fc defender Benjamin Nyakojo was sidelined with a crucial injury hence he was no longer available for selection.

The team leaves for Morocco this Sunday and will be in Berkane, where they’ll be joined by the foreign based players.

Uganda is in group G with Algeria, Guinea, Botswana, Somalia and Mozambique.
