A lot of questions have been raised and words said but have all finally been rounded up as the finals the 2022 Masaza Cup are set to be played in March.
4th March 2023 is the chosen date and venue will be changed due to the tight schedule of the St Mary’s Kitende home team in Vipers to the Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
In this year’s final, Buddu, who won it in the previous edition will face off with Busiro, the finalists in 2019 in the final.
Buddu have won the tournament twice in (2016 and 2021) while Busiro have not had a taste of the prestigious tournament.
At the semi-finals
Buddu eliminated Bulemeezi on away goal’s rule after a 2-2 aggregate stalemate while Busiro edged powered Ssingo 4-3 on aggregate.
As it usually is, His majesty the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II will close the tournament.
