2022-23 Stanbic Uganda Cup: Round of 64 draws held

The Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64 draws were held on Tuesday at the FUFA House, Mengo.

Kampala Region had the highest number of teams, 50 followed by West Nile Region 46 then Buganda, Northern, Western and Eastern region respectively.

The prize money of the 2022/23 Stanbic Uganda Cup competition has grown over the years. The figures flow as below;

UGX 90 M – 2018
UGX 120 M – 2019
UGX 166 M – 2021
UGX 180 M – 2022

Games will be played in between 27th January 2023 and 3rd February 2023 and all the teams will get new kits in which they are to play the games in before the above dates.

BUL FC won last year’s Finals when they hammered Vipers SC 3-1 at the Booma grounds, Hoima and this year’s Final will be played at the Akii Bua stadium, Lira.
