After Seven (7) games without a win, Busoga United have brought back Charles Ayiekoh Lukula to change the trend of results at the Club.
Despite the Club being handed to the Busoga community two months ago, a poor start to the season under head Coach Eric Ndifuna is not what the fans were going to adhere to having just sank into the second division.
Laying in 13th on Log with Four (4) points, the Busoga region side has managed only Four draws and 3 losses in the 2024/25 Big League campaign.
For the previous few years Ayiekoh has spent in managing Women Football from She Corporate, Simba Queens, Uganda Senior Women National Team (Crested Cranes) and Kampala Queens, questions of if he’s still at per with the men’s football might arise.

However his Football experience would override all questions, having been at the Jinja side before; between 2017 and 2019 thus pushing fans to have in mind what to expect of Ayiekoh which is to revive the Club’s glory days.
With huge expectancy, still the fans want to see their side dominate FUFA Big League and head back to the top flight, something that doesn’t look easy at this point.
But all this possible with some basics put into place, most especially man-managing the players and Ayiekoh is well known for this having done it with the same Club earlier and at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) in the University Football League.
With a home Fixture against Buhimba Saints in sight as the Club’s next game in pursuit of their first season win will be on Sunday 24th November and more efforts are required to grab a result.
Currently the Big League is led by Masindi side Booma FC who have 15 points to their name, 11 more than the Jinja side in scope.
