In a short sit down chat with bronze medalist Musiimenta she managed to acknowledge feel on return;

I feel good we finished third won bronze, so generally the journey was fair

On the journey and weather changes;

We had some added flight hours since we first flew to Ethiopia before getting Namibia

Namibia was hot since it’s a desert country so it carried onto the courts

However we adapted to it after two practice days by the help of the Namibian people who are so welcoming.

On what she learnt;

Generally I got to learn more about the sport and also discovered we need to build more infrastructure in terms of squash courts in different country areas

I hope more young girls join the sport and even those in University more especially Makerere University who have a court near the Swimming Pool.

What she sees in her near Future as she continues with the sport;

Personally am already 25 years old have a short time left but am encouraging more young people to join the sport.

To the benefit of the Sport, I hope it can attract more investors to lift the upcoming talents as we welcome the 2025 Africa Squash Senior Championship.

Uganda will host the 2025 Africa Squash Senior Championship in Kampala but before the end of this year the team will have to go to Tororo for the 2024 Uganda Open International Squash tournament.
