Wakiso Hill, Rogers Nkugwa partways

Having threatened to leave at the start of this season, finally Rogers Nkugwa and Wakiso Hill WFC Part ways.

The Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League side Wakiso Hill WFC parted ways with the tactician after unconvincing start to the 2024/25 season.

”Wakiso Hill Women Football Club has with effect from 25th November 2024 agreed to part ways with Mr. Nkugwa Rogers under mutual consent.” The club statement read.

The Antelopes who kicked off their season with 1-1 draw away at Lugogo with Kampala Queens have not gained a win after eight games.

Recently the Maya based side that hosts its games at St Mary’s Stadium- Kitende lost their last game 2-0  to She Corporate at MUBS Arena in Nakawa.

Nkugwa helped Wakiso Hill to survive relegation last season on top of a semi-final finish in the FUFA Women’s Cup.

Wakiso Hill sit 11th on League table with four points in eight games and will face Tooro Queens away in their next game on Saturday 30th November at Buhinga Stadium.
