Uplift Soccer Academy Hosts Successful Kampala Sports Exhibition 2025

The grounds of Kibuli Secondary School in Kampala came alive from September 6th to 13th, 2025, as Uplift Soccer Academy, in partnership with Goal Club and Kibuli SS, staged a week-long sports exhibition that celebrated football excellence and youth development.

The tournament drew eight teams, including Uplift A, Uplift B, Lungujja Galaxy, Kidogo Basi from Mombasa (Kenya), All Stars, Select FC, KJT, and City Star. The event offered a unique platform for young players to showcase their skills in front of international scouts and agents.

Among the distinguished guests were Uplift Director and chief organiser Mugisha Ayub, international soccer agents Marco and Oscar from Italy, as well as Walter Lopez from UAE giants Al Ain Football Club. Their participation underlined the growing importance of exposing grassroots talent to global opportunities.

For seven days, fans were treated to thrilling football displays, culminating in a pulsating final between Uplift A and Kenyan visitors Kidogo Basis After a hard-fought contest, Uplift A Team were crowned champions of the 2025 Kampala Sports Exhibition Cup.

Speaking after the final, Ayub expressed pride in the players and the success of the event:
