John Ayala Luyinda managed to guide Vipers to their second consecutive home win against Sports Club Villa in Kitende on Saturday evening.
The Venoms came back from a goal down edge the game 2-1 with two goals in either half from forward Yunus Ssentamu `Hitman’ and Centre back Rogers Torach.
SC Villa opened up the scoring on the day through Hakim Kiwanuka, six minutes past the half hour mark after a good through ball Diego Ssemugera.
Two minutes later, the visitors tried playing out from the back but slow decision making by Edward Masembe gave Venoms forward Milton Karisa to nick it to set up Yunus Ssefuma in the 6 yard box area to level matters.
Ten minutes after the restart, Rogers Torach added the hosts third, chesting in Karim Watambala’s corner to give the venoms a lead that they managed to hold on to till the 90 minute mark.
The victory takes Vipers 4th on the League table with 7 points from four games while Villa drop to 9th with 6 points.
In their next games, Vipers will visit Wakiso Giants after the International break on the 17th October as SC Villa take on Bright stars at home the following day.
