It rained goals in Butema as Wasswa Bbosa’s Kitara demolished powerless Express FC 7-0 at the Royal Park on Saturday evening.
Bbosa, a former head Coach at Express managed to send out his troops to hand the Red Eagles their Fourth loss of the Campaign.
A George Ssenkaaba header opened the scoring spree with a fine header off Lazaro’s pin point cross just two (2) minutes into the game.
Ssemugabi doubled hosts’ lead 19 minutes later with a solo run from almost the centre line past Hakim Wandera on the right only to cut inside for a left footed shot that totally beat Emmanuel Kalyowa in Express’ goal.
Fred Amaku added the third off Senkaaba’s poor control in the box after a great long ball by Lazaro who was in his own half.
This took Kitara into the break with a 3-0 lead which would just boast their confidence basing current form.
In the second stanza, The Royals just ran rampant over the Red Eagles with former Express talisman Ssenkaaba completing his hat trick after netting the 4th and 5th in the 58th and 76th minute respectively.
It was again Ssemugabi with a great delivery into the area with something good work done by Titus Ssematimba in the midfield for number 4 but then returnee Rogers Mugisha doing all to shot only for Kalyowa to punch it in Ssenkaaba’s path.
Ssemugabi who completed his brace two minutes later and David Ndihabwe with Four minutes to the 90’ mark made it seven to give Kitara their Fourth win in the last Five games.
This result lifts Kitara to 7th with 17 points level with Police, Villa and UPDF but having a better goal difference of 15 whereas Express stay in 5th with 19 points.
In their next games next year, Kitara will visit Wakiso Giants on January 5th while Express host Bright stars on January 2nd.
