UPL: SC Villa, Wakiso Giants temporarily switch venues ahead of Match Day 14 Fixtures

In preparation of 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), SC Villa and Wakiso Giants have been forced to relocate their Uganda Premier League sides to alternative venues for a while.

This is due to the ongoing renovations at their home grounds which are set to upgrade them to CHAN training grounds.

Two grounds Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium (Home to Wakiso Giants) and Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku (Home to SC Villa) are those in the scope undergoing upgrades.

The much anticipated tournament that will be hosted by three nations Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania is set to kick off on 1st February and climax on 28th of the same month.

Therefore SC Villa will host their next game against URA FC at Luzira Prisons Ground this Saturday 4th January whereas Wakiso Giants welcome Kitara FC the next day at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo
