SC Villa bounced back to winning ways with a commanding 6-1 win over Wakiso Giants at the Muteesa II stadium in Wankulukuku on Saturday.
In what was labeled as a one-sided encounter, Jogoos left a mark on the Purple Sharks with the biggest win margin this season.
On form Charles Lwanga opened his account just 14 minutes into the game when Reagan Mpadde set him up before Patrick Jonah Kakande doubled the advantage, two minutes after the half hour mark.

However this one was exceptional as he drove past a couple of players from the centre to slot the ball home. The two goals were enough to put the hosts in control thus finishing the half in control.
After restart, Substitute Hakim Kiwanuka stretched Villa’s goal advantage to three just six minutes but Marvin Oshaba pulled one back through the spot seven minutes later after Simon Kato Ssemayange held the ball in the box.
Despite cutting the deficit, SC Villa was not willing to stop with Lwanga completing his brace before Reagan Mpadde and David Owori got onto the scorer sheet.
The victory took SC Villa to 4th place with 14 points while Wakiso Giants FC dropped to 13th on 9 points.
In their next games, SC Villa will take on NEC in Lugogo on Friday 27th November, two days after Wakiso Giants have hosted URA in Wakiso
In the other game of the day, Mbarara City FC edged Mbale Heroes 1-0 result at Kakyeka Stadium thanks to a Joseph Akandwanaho sole effort.
