Brian Omirambe saved the day for Maroons FC after scoring a late penalty to to their secure their first win of the campaign on Sunday at Luzira Prison grounds.
This all came to light when Muhammad Gift Lubega held the ball in the box with no minutes left to play.
After Four games, Maroons clinched their first win of the season after which lifts them to 11th on the log with 5 points.
For Lugazi, they remain winless with a point to their name having drawn at home to Vipers on Tuesday.
After the international break, Maroons will take a short trip to Lugogo to face NEC FC on October 19 while Lugazi will host fellow new entrant Mbale Heroes.
