Mbarara City managed to exhibit another great performance as they edged Bright stars at Kavumba on Wednesday evening.
On form Seiri Arigumaho netted the Ankole Lions only goal of the game in a match that was earlier halted by rain in the opening half.
With a minute set to close the first half, Arigumaho scored a spectacular freekick extending his goal tally to 5 goal of the season.
The victory takes Mbarara to 4th on the Log with 9 points, two shy off KCCA who are top with 11.
In their next games, Mbarara City will host Vipers in Kakyeka on 29th October while Bright Stars visit BUL In Najjembe on the same date.
