UPL: KCCA scrap edgy win from Mbale to go top

KCCA walked straight back to the top of the after securing Fourth campaign win against Mbale Heroes in Mbale Stadium on Saturday evening.

Bright Anukani got his first goal for the Club since his return to bag the three points despite the closely contested affair.

The goal came went into the back of the net at the half hour mark through a header by Anukani in the 6 yard box after the hosts defenders failed to clear Mayanja Abubaker’s miss kick in the 18.

This result took the Lugogo side, top with 14 points as they await to hear a result from the NEC game against Wakiso Giants while Mbale Heroes stayed 15th (Red zone) with 4 points.

In their next games, KCCA will host Maroons in Thursday 31st October as Mbale Heroes will make a short trip to Kavumba for Police clash a day before.
