  • Kitara 0-1 Police

Kitara FC lost their third straight game of the season in four outings at home to Police FC on Thursday evening.

The game ended 0-1 in favor of the visitors thanks Augustine Kacancu who netted the 28th minute winner to hand Kitara their second loss in Hoima.

Goal came after Kacancu rebounded a Jamil Kiyimba stopped shot from Isaac Ogwang’s free kick on the edge.

Six minutes later, the Cops thought they had extended their lead in the 34th minute through Brian Obedi but was cancelled by the linesman to send the visiting team into shock.

On the other hand, this win meant that Police picked up their first three(3) points of the season after 3 straight draws to go up to 6th place with six (6) points on the League table.

For the Royals of Kitara, they sink to 11th on the log with 3 points, just one above the red zone.

In their next games, Kitara FC will visit Mbarara City on 18th October while Police are to host Express on 16th of the same month.
