UPL: An All-Ahimbisibwe show, The hunter’s Hatrick hands URA victory away to Mbale Heroes

A first half hatrick and an assist in the second half by Their lethal shirt 9 Ivan Ahimbisibwe summed up URA FC’s visit to Mbale Municipal stadium on Saturday, the 0:4 win away to Mbale Heroes made it to seven points on Match Day4 of the Startimes Uganda Premier League.

Ahimbisibwe opened the score with a header his in the 11th minute, six minutes later he capitalized on an error by the Mbale Heroes goalkeeper Paul Mujampwani who failed to handle Moses Aliro’s shot and spilled it right into the path of Ahimbisibwe for his second.

Ahimbisibwe completed his hatrick with a beautiful strike to the roof of the net five minutes after the half hour mark. At that moment, Mbale Heroes coach decided he had seen enough of his Goalie and made his first change of the game to bring on Dalton Oyo in-between the sticks.

Amisi Bwangani scored the visitors’ fourth with a shot from outside the box off Ahimbisibwe’s assist to complete his stellar performance and this season’s first hatrick which now makes him the League’s top score with four goals adding to his lone strike in the one nil win against Bright Stars.

The win takes URA to 3rd and 3points away from table leaders KCCA FC who are on 10points while Mbale Heroes lie in 12th, a big disappointment to the hosts considering they defeated defending champions SC Villa last weekend with a late solo strike on this ground to earn their only points of the season.

After the international break, URA will host BUL FC on 18th October while Mbale Heroes will be away to Lugazi FC on 16th.
