University Football League: Makerere stun King Ceasor to move top of group E

Makerere University cruised to a stunning 4-0 victory against King Ceasor University at home in the University Football League moving to the top of the log in Group C with 6 points from 3 games.

It was a goals galore as the home side dominated the first half breaking the deadlock within just 5 minutes of play as Male Musa slotted home to send the home fans into early jubilation.

Proving their supremacy over King Ceasor, Makerere doubled their lead in two minutes from the first goal as Ambe Ambrose saw the back of the net before setting up Byaruhanga Isaac at the quarter hour mark for a 3-0 scoreline.

Ambe Ambrose completed his double with a brilliant Finnish off a lay off from Ekwong Edward in the 37th minute.

Regardless of the first half 4-0 scoreline, King Ceasor University played the second stanza whole heartedly as they defended in numbers to reduce on the deficit limiting Makerere in their own half with a few chances of a consolation goal.

Makerere now sit top on the log in Group with 6 pints as Kumi University and Ndejje University come joint second on five points from three games.
