Uganda Cricket Association is set to host the first round of the Challenge League B tournament.
The tournament will toss off Monday 4th November and climax on 16th of the same month at both Lugogo and Entebbe Cricket Oval.
This highly anticipated event will feature six competitive teams; Uganda, Tanzania, Bahrain, Singapore, Italy, and Hong Kong China.
Challenge League B serves as a crucial pathway to the 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, which will take place in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
At the tournament launch Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, Eng. Fred Lutaaya, came out to express his enthusiasm:

“We are thrilled to be hosting the 1st round of the Challenge League as Uganda.” Lutaaya said
“This opportunity reflects the ICC’s confidence in the Uganda Cricket Association as a capable host nation.” He added
“Having previously hosted the same event in 2022 and the finals of the Women’s World Cup Qualifiers last year, we see this tournament as an incredible opportunity for our players to showcase their skills.” he continued
“We invite everyone to join us for what promises to be an unforgettable experience.” Lutaaya concluded
This is the second time since Uganda held Cricket World Cup Challenge League B 2022 second round of matches in Group B of the 2019–2022 Cricket World Cup Challenge League
