Mbale Heroes will host Lugazi FC in the Startimes Uganda Premier League match at Mbale Municipal Stadium on Thursday evening
The Bhakebi boys sit rock botton of the log with just 10 points from the 19 game they have played so far and this is an opportunity to add on their points as well as bouncing back from a 5-0 loss against KCCA FC when they face Lugazi a side they have never lost a game against in their three encounters they have met so far.
Mbale Heroes have struggled throughout the season with problems in the technical and management staff which has endured their poor performance in the league, they face Lugazi FC who come from a huge win in their previous game as they defeated Express FC by a 1-0 score.
Lugazi are targeting maximum points in their pursuit to seal a stay in the top flight football with a better position finish as they currently sit in the 11th position with 23 points just 9 above the relegation places.
Lugazi will welcome back Derrick Mwanje who missed the Express FC game due to suspension as well as defender Rogers Atube who has fully recovered from injury.
Other games on the day will see UPDF host KCCA in Bombo and Police visit Express at Nakivubo under the floodlights.
