The Uganda Cranes has remained 82nd as per the latest Federation of International Football Association ( FIFA) rankings for the month of December 2021.
Uganda is still stationed 82nd with 1285.25 points, the same position as the one held a month ago.
With less international football in the last month, this was imminent and expected.
Apart from the FIFA Arab Cup and a couple of friendlies, there has been no action elsewhere.
Uganda is 16th on the African continent but still tops in the East African region.
Kenya is 102nd, Sudan 125th, Tanzania 131st, Rwanda 135th, Ethiopia 137th, Burundi 140th, South Sudan 167th, Djibouti 192nd, Somalia 193 while Eritrea are the least ranked in East Africa in 202nd position.
Meanwhile, Senegal remains the best ranked country in Africa in the 20th position with 1561.68 points.
The top 10 in the world have also remained static with Belgium leading the 210 football countries.
Brazil, France, England, Argentina, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Denmark and Nederlands complete the top 10 respectively.
The next FIFA/ Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 10th February 2022.
